First Love

The words don't come and so I write 

I know that I'll think of you tonight

You heard of true love in movies and books

But not based on popularity or looks

When I first met you, I didn't give it a second thought

But after a few hours, I knew that I was caught

We met in a very uncertain way

But I still remember the day

What we had was something new,

Our love for each other has always been true.

I didn't trust you, but it was a start

I had so much fun, but it ended too fast
