What was the reason?

Sometimes I wonder, what was the reason?

For bringing two hearts and souls together, 

Now they are fighting; but not for each other. 

They say, there's a reason for everything.

How can I see nothing? 

Sometimes I wonder, what was the reason?

Forgiving hope to the young ones,

Now they feel they'll never give love to someone. 

They say love is a connection between two hearts.

But now how are they breaking apart?

Sometimes I wonder, what was the reason?

Of making fake promises to each other,

Now they are faking being happy together.

They say love is blind.

Now their thoughts are no longer aligned.

Sometimes I wonder if all of this is my fault somehow?
