The broken boat,

Adores the distant waves,

Adorned in dead shells,

Layers of green algae,

And dreams of the distant waves.

His reminiscences,

Of the tempests he dealt with,

To reach the shore,

Resurrect memories of a struggle,

That he had undertaken.

But does the silken bed ,

And embrace of the beloved,

On a fragrant nupital night,

Really define the journey to the shore?

Or does it sound the death knell,

On a love affair ,

That charmed lives during,

The romantic endeavors of youth?
