'Fate defied me? Or I defied Fate?'
'Fate defied me? Or I defied Fate?'
"Fate defied me" saying, People mocked.
I fought, I struggled , surviving all the injustices holding my breath,
Suffering these, Still I gathered my last rays of hope,
Cause I dreamt to defy fate.
I was told, "Your fate doesn't hold it"
Yet I acted like a deaf person moving on with my last rays of hope,
Cause I dreamt to defy fate.
Fate and I battled, both unwilling to give up,
For we dreamt to defy each other.
I wasn't afraid to face my fate nor did I wish to face the bitter truth that fate may have hold for me.
So, I chose the other way out,
That way which was narrower, darker, riskier and unguaranteed of having a perfect and a beautiful ending,
That way in which I had to travel alone leaving away all my selfish desires.
Fate smirked at me,
I glared at it with red glowing eyes and then chuckled away thinking about the time when I defy fate.
Now, I am on my way
Waiting to meet the point where land touches the sky gently kissing each other,
Still unsure, still struggling with my last rays of hope to defy fate.
Still pondering, 'Whether fate defied me ? Or I defied fate?' with the same witty smile that I had put all my way.
