Fatal Attraction
Fatal Attraction
Away from the danger, slowly I crawl,
Heartbeats rising and limbs betraying its stroll.
The eyes of the predator piercing my soul,
The fangs are bare, aching to reach its goal.
The treacherous Samba, danced by his eyes and my heart,
Represents Icarus and his daring act.
Love you may call it ,or curse it by any name.
This attraction is fatal; there is no give nor take.
The world is coming to an end, everything will halt.
This irony will cease to exist, the lamb will call.
The arrow has reached its target, the poison is seeping.
This time it’s final beyond the weeping.
