New Beginnings

Alone in a sea of unknown faces, dressed in Jeans and brand new shoes

At the gates of new beginnings, why am I restless and unable to move?

Never had confidence deserted me this way,and never had security felt so alien!

Why was college life suddenly, standing in front of me like a demon?!

School life had been so pleasant, with lovely friends and teachers making the experience so sweet!

College life would be similar right?! Then why am I standing on wobbly feet?!

Memories come flooding by, and realisation strikes!

Those unforgettable days are over and done.

But there ain’t no point in running for cover so move on!

A new life is going to start, and with that a strong desire to make it as amazing as the past!

‘You are worth a million’, I stand and try to remember, while

An unknown face comes by and says, ‘I am new to this college too,can we find our classroom together?’
