Fairytale Love.

Fairytale Love.

1 min 209 1 min 209

I dreamt of a fairytale love,

Kind of love which was all above

But then I came back to the reality

And pulled back my lost sanity.

And one night I saw a shooting star,

Bright as sun but way too far

I closed my eyes and quickly made a wish

While standing in the varanda amidst.

Wondering if my wish would come true,

I sat at the window sill looking at the view

I never believed in this shooting star thing

But, this was something really incurring.

Been years and I met new people,

Some good and some evil

Got my heart broken

And left many things unspoken.

Believed that my wish was gone,

And all my dreams are now undergone

But then I looked and opened my eyes

And got a blessing in this disguise.

I got that love I ever wished for,

And now I couldn't think of anything more

He became a precious part of me

My love for him became greater than the sea.

He did not just love me,

But he also made me love myself

He taught me what love is all about;

Staying by their side, throughout.

Love is not what you read in books,

It is not really how it looks

It is a feeling you can never express

It is both; pleasant and a mess.

'You can express everything through poetry',

But nothing can describe what he feels like

With each and every passing day,

My words for him become more than I can say.
