Invisible Love
Invisible Love

He was on his way to be with her.
She knew it coz the snow was melting.
The bike jumped not coz of bumps,
t'ere inflation of ecstasy airborne.
Since childhood they had lolled on the sunny slopes
Cuddling and cajoling with glee.
He lying on the verdure, she rolling past.
Gurgles of mirth and laughter remained long after.
One early morning he was gone,
To a city unknown but when he came back
four winters later,
He was a man of solitude.
Neither ran, nor chased her.
Just lay still feeling her breath over him
while the sun went acute to obtuse`
merging golden to grey and orange obscure.
It was just three autumns and then he was gone.
News travelled not and she could not go leaving
her abode of mighty mountains and crystal banks
Lofty deodars and scroogey pines.
Today she saw the house be cleaned and gleaned.
Hustle and bustle of people was around.
She
draped in patience waited at crevice.
There he was bearded man strong and upright.
She jumped but made no sound.
Tiptoed to the sloping meadows down.
He rode hurriedly, stood near the precipice
Took out his cigarette and tried a light
there she was, snatching in a whiff blew all around
Turning him behind.
chasing her wildly running all around.
He threw himself on the ground
and she poured her love over and above.
He got up shouted aloud to say
"I miss you and love you."
While she took off his cap
blushing and rushing through the pines.
A winning moment of love it was.
He clasped himself and sat quiet
soaking in her love, as she played around.
Oh! you sweet-scented, kindling my life
your every whiff reaches my soul
Thank You, Lord, for this west wind.
As he clutched her pounding heaving sounds
in forest all around.
it was dance and song of invisible love.
