Glow In The Dark

Glow In The Dark

You left me in the dark pathway,

You know I was scared of darkness.

You have done this is so many times to trick me,

You'll come out of nowhere and hug me from behind.

It was a kind of strange feeling though,

Totally spine chilling.

I always keep my fingers tightly entangled with yours to stop you from tricking me.

One day we had a serious fight and you left me behind as you took our usual dark pathway.

I was too scared to come up there.

But I cannot leave you, so I followed you in the deep dark pathway.

I was searching for you frantically by throwing my hands in the air in a desperate feel to clutch your palms.

I was terrified, scared and alone.

I was completely lost in darkness.

Now, my fear of darkness has been submerged by the fear of losing you.

I cried, screamed and called your name a million times like it's the light that can brighten up this unusual darkness.

I called and called until my mouth went completely dry.

All that barely comes from my mouth is air.

In the middle of somewhere, I got to know you left.

I was not ready to die of betrayal.

I owed you my entire life for the person I loved, but not for the person you changed.

What made me glow even in the darkness is my love for you.

I started showering the love I had for you on myself, little by little constantly.

And magically, it helped me move to crawl out of the darkness.

And when I was finally out, darkness doesn't scare me anymore.

What makes me scared is to fall in love with someone like you.
