An Untold Uranian
An Untold Uranian
I wept to my sky and wondered,
If this is the last time your stars would shine;
Soldiers marching ahead, over dead and crooked spine.
Blood gurgling throat, stitches my whim
Our garden lack flowers, my seasons go grim.
Oh dear, my dear, hours I spent are slumberless,
Hopes I endure with, counts to numberless;
Bring me the white lilies when you come back!
Battle here, battle there, battle enclosing me,
For I will deny flowers, send in your loving memory.
The mob around us, portrays no favour
For I'm not your spouse, just a man lover;
Soon, there may be candles, prayers in black moan,
The commons shall sacrifice me, for our sin to atone.
In all the coming eons, we will be lost and gone,
For lovers like us will know, it was never wrong.
