Seasons In A Day

A thick blanket of snow and ice covered the earth.

The trees were freezing themselves,

As the clouds showered snow.

It was winter for earth.

It was winter for me,

At the noon.

When I was freezing myself at an air conditioned room,

Showered with a hell lot of to-do-tasks.

The trees were naked.

The clouds were painted with a golden hue.

The roads were camouflaged by a mask of leaves.

It was autumn for earth.

It was autumn for me,

At dusk.

When I remove the mask that I disguised.

As I shed the tears of melancholy of the past.

I stand there naked and raw,

Even when I'm fully covered.

The tress adorned themselves with multi-colored leaves,

Daffodils, crocus and tulips were blooming all around.

I could sense a mixed smell of petrichor and the scent of the blossoms.

Everything around was rejuvenating.

It was spring for earth.

It was spring for me,

At pitch-dark night.

When I re-new myself from the not-so-good past.

As I decorate my soul with the gleeful memories of the past,

And kick start it to save memories of the present.

To cherish it in the future.

The fire ball was glowing like a pregnant women.

It was wearing it's usual yellow-red attire,

And it was red-hot.

It was burning everything around with it's utmost hotness.

The sunflowers tilt their heads to adore the hot sun.

It was summer for earth.

It was summer for me,

At the dawn.

When my eyes burn like the hot sun,

On account of the sleepless night.

I was on a mission to burn every obstacle with utmost passion,

To glow and grow.
