Fairy Tale - A Myth
Fairy Tale - A Myth
Her life was heralded a fairy tale,
As she lived like a princess.
Was she happy did anyone ask?
Ahh… None seem to be bothered.
Fairy tales aren't the way they seem,
All hunky dory and wonderful.
Dive into them and you would see,
The protagonist suffering a lot.
Same happened with our girl here,
Muted princess that she was.
Tied to the ropes of richness,
She neither moved nor talked.
Her face bore a constant smile,
As though 'twas stuck to her face.
She seemed like a wax doll,
That melts in the heat of money.
Fairy tale that it was,
Remained so in people's minds.
She knew her life better and
That fairy tale is indeed a myth.
