End? No, It’s The beginning!

End? No, It’s The beginning!

Love! I heard them saying is the toughest,

But their assertions are utterly bogus, said my nugget!

Where sorrows were what they claimed for it,

He wrapped me stiff in his amour knit!

Despite it took years to take the right whiff,

Thus far, isn’t this something to be mastered with glyph?

Who had ever known the verbal language of love, after-all,

Since medieval to this time of brawl!

Fantasies when seemed twirling to life,

Age couldn’t be a hurdle, although I turned forty-five!

Those magical thrilling days of young,

Swung back in time with a memory chunk!

College days were those when we met,

I an aspiring engineer and he the nifty NCC cadet!

Disparate yet, what kept us in the same shoe,

Was 70s’ love in its extremist spirited hue!

Hallucination or may be daydreaming it could be baptized,

When fancying us wedlock froze my heart, mind and eyes!

Still and all, the destiny revealed verity of our caste,

When families denied and lovers were took apart!

Time since then flew in vain,

As I kept yearning to see him again!

Neither their persuasions nor could any compel,

Made me tie the knot for my wedding bell!

Sighting the handsome today at our same coffee shop,

Evocated forgone adoring days and kept my jaw dropped!

Yet an oldie now, my heart weaved with him an ideal twinning,

For it wasn’t the end, but a newfangled beginning!
