Wide, starry_eyed fantasy,

Held forth a gleaming future,

A Knight in shining armor,

A Prince Charming, for sure...

In perfect accordion, walked in,

An angel in every sense,

Swept me off my steadfast feet,

To enliven an existence...

Perched me on cloud nine,

Wrapped in glorious warmth,

Of concern, care, and couth,

With unassuming grace...

Initial reluctance to accept,

A stranger into my haven,

Dispelled with every encounter,

Unveiling a pleasant realization...

Here's one who would love,

Laugh with me all the way,

Wiping tears and nudging me on,

To take things in my stride...

Basking in glory, I flourished,

Prospered, blossomed,

Cherishing those palpitations,

With two hearts beating as one...

Every stride unearthed,

A glowing aspect, concealed,

Beneath an impenetrable countenance,

Each discovery a perception,

Of warmth, humility, humaneness.....

One moment, together,

The next, drawn apart, miles away,

Pursuing livelihood with,

Unflinching, unparalleled determination...

Every moment of separation,

Torture, yet an eye_opener,

Gathering pearls of memories,

From shells of togetherness...

An attempt to relive them,

Those moments of ecstasy,

Heartbreaking yet pacifying,
