What are your plans for tomorrow?

Most people would have a reply without a second thought

Humans have a busy and monotonous life

Working people have a day filled with meeting

Homemakers have creative challenges

Children have terrifying tests

And I have to wander aimlessly on the internet

But in reality, we never know

We cannot predict what will happen in the next hour

We build plans under the assumption

That we would like for the next few decades

But life is not about planning

We never know the next twist

Yes we have to be prepared

But we also have to ready

We will never know so many things

We have to be ready for Ellipsism

 A sadness that you’ll never be able to know how history will turn out

And yet move on based on assumptions and hope
