All I've ever got is just a peek,

A peek of the outside world-

That I never experienced.

I try to open the door,

But you close it shut

Am I not supposed to open it?

What happens if I open it?

Would I receive the love I've craved?

The love I desire?

The small look I got entices me,

Lures me to pass through it,

But you always find a way,

A way to stop me.
