DEATH MEETS INNOCENCE
DEATH MEETS INNOCENCE
A lad innocent and loved by all
A son who answers each and every call
Doesn't know much about his precious life
One day dares to challenge the pain of knife
And then what,
He sees standing tall his death
He takes a calm but very deep breath
He slowly crawls towards his own demise
To ask a question with eyes in eyes
He asks where will you take me to
What trouble would you drag me into?
Why have you come here; tell me?
Don't take me away; I have a big world to see
When will you return me to mother
Make it soon, as she will bother
Hearing the questions and the entreaty
The death himself feels sorrow and pity
He asks himself why I should take this guiltless child.
Why should I throw him into the deadly wild?
A moment later death says to the tiny sad sack
You'll persist and will always have my back
The kid gave a large smile so did the assassin
Emptiness loses and pureness wins
