The heart devoid of happiness

I can feel pain,

I can feel fear,

I can feel sadness

That I just can't bear.

I bottle up my feelings

Feelings of sadness

Feelings of anxiety,

With no trace of happiness.

I am aweary 

Of all these negativity

People say- I gotta think positive

But it ain't that easy.

Waiting to be accepted

Waiting to be loved 

Waiting to be cared for

It's all I can do.

My heart is filled

With such betrayals

Never been cared for

Never been loved

It's just devoid of mirth.
