My Dear Brother

My Dear Brother

They say its an auspicious occasion,

But for me, it's an emotional one.

I was never really proud of my brother,

But I knew He was a hardworking one.

I am who I am today ----

For all my brother had done!

You would see him as an illiterate fellow,

Who worked at a broken down shop.

I saw him as a tireless brother,

Who just won't stop!

You notice me, you praise me

For who I am today.

But no one ever cares about:

Where 'he' is today!

Let me take this opportunity,

To praise my brother.

For all he did, all he worried about,

Was me and none other!

This 'Rakshabandhan' let me

Be proud of my brother as----

I would not have achieved my success,

If he were not such a hard worker!
