Each One Feed One And No Stray Problem At All !

We have three streeties in our street,

They are loved by all here equally,

Dhoni is the mother, maybe fourteen years now,

Brownie is her daughter, thin, slim and very trim,

Bablu is the youngest, just joined in with the other two!

He just came in one day and started living here too,

But he thinks the whole street belongs to him alone,

That is how he behaves not allowing anyone around,

Leave alone the other strays, even the noisy motorbikes,

Have to reduce their speed fully, stop and then slowly go!

The children in the neighborhood here play with them,

Many feed them with biscuits a number of times,

I cook one fresh meal for all three of them,

My better half feeds them every night,

Dhoni was sick and was nursed back to health!

Oh My! What a lovely street they are in,

I just thought if every streetie is taken care of like this,

So many houses there are on a single street,

And just a few dogs they have on every street,

They can take turns to feed them once a day!

Just this much care will benefit them a long way,

I see so many dogs searching for food,

Whenever I am out for my morning walk,

But, there is hardly anything for them to eat,

As the waste is collected at the doorstep these days!

When they are hungry, they bark and bite,

What else can they do other than that,

If the people on their street be a little kind to them,

Feed them and take a little care of them once in a while,

All problems of strays will be solved once and for all!

I am so sure no dog would bite anyone or bother them,

A little love and care is all that they ask,

A little understanding from our side is needed now,

They are anyway on our streets to take care of us,

So each one feed one and all stray problems will be solved!
