                      Life!

Each day passes by so quickly I see,

Days into months, months into years,

One by one they just pass by so fast,

In the blink of an eye, without even us realizing it!

As infants or children, we are taken care of 24/7,

In our adolescent stage, we are busy revolting to what everyone says,

Slowly as adults we realise, after all no one was wrong,

We had wasted our precious time, minus any hard work at all!

As adults, in middle age we strive for excellence,

To work hard, to save, to build, to take care of our kids,

Life is so busy that there is no time to stand and stare,

Many years pass by too swiftly at this stage!

Then, before you even think of, you are already in old age,

Now, you realise that how fast all these years passed by,

So swiftly, in the blink of an eye, without enjoying or doing what you like,

Do wake up at now at least, enjoy life, live fully doing what you like!
