So Old yet no one to Care!
So Old yet no one to Care!
So Old yet no one to Care!
Saw this old man today,
Fully bent and walking so slow,
With his hands formed in a bowl,
Just walking on the busy brigade road,
He wasn’t looking at anyone,
As he had to walk carefully looking down,
Not to trip on any stone or trash,
As then the whole purpose of his hand bowl,
And his will to come here to beg is gone,
I was driving and at the traffic lights,
When I witnessed this sight.
My eyes were filled with tears seeing his plight,
As I felt so bad for this good old man,
Who is not strong enough to walk or talk,
Just moving slowly with his hand bowl,
Those who want can help him, he thought,
Could see that attitude in him,
As he wasn’t asking anyone anything,
Just walking slowly with his head bent down,
I felt this poor guy must have worked so hard,
In his good old younger days,
To take care of his family and all,
And now was his time to be taken care of,
To take good care of his health and rest well,
By his younger lot whom he had taken good care of,
Where have they all disappeared now,
Leaving this so very old man to fend for himself?
