The King Of Hearts

I might be the king, the king of the hearts, 

The charming hero in your life's pack of cards.

For you, I am ever smiling, I can have no scar

I have to shine like a bright shining star.

But o world, do you not see the pain beneath my smile?

Or my dull and clumsy life though I look agile.

I am lonely, I have no one to speak my heart out,

The meek me is getting lost in your grandeur crowd.

The fire of pain has engulfed me from all around,

I cried for help, but no ears could hear my sound.

No soothing arm came to put out the fire while I burnt alone,

O my dear world, now you have only my ash to cry upon.
