Dreams

I see an alternate world when I sleep

My dreams take me far and deep

My soul is vindicated

My fears are eradicated

I might be on the journey alone

But I know I will never trip on a stone

Dreams were considered visual representations of our inner most desires

They were the things that set our souls on fire

I can have my date with destiny

With no universal force testing me

My world lights up with an abundance of love

Chopping down the trees of hate that others sow

My world is full of colors

Beautiful smell of different flowers

I am no different from anyone

When it comes to hating someone I too am a lazy one

While awake my world spins

But when I am dreaming my entire world grins

In reality I am always waiting for the hammer to fall

But in my dreams I too can pass the ball

My heart beats not only for me

But for all those who believe in me

My dreams are my aspirations

Hopefully somebody else’s inspirations

Why am I doing something I normally would ask

But in my dreams without consequence I would do that task

Dreams are a mixture of reality and virtuality

The only difference is they dont show so much of brutality

Dreams allow us to live our paradise

From the ashes of broken lies do we arise

Each bond we make

Is deeply cherished in our heads far more than a piece of cake

For dreams teach us it is all about give and take

And that the fallen leaves of broken hope we must rake

So that our love is not fake

We will never truly understand what our dreams mean

But one thing is for certain on good dreams do our hopes of a better tomorrow lean
