Desert
Desert
And they traversed across the mighty desert,
The golden sands gleaming in
The silver of the moon. The distant chirp of
The crickets, as though they intend on
Accompanying them in their travel.
It was a mystique view, being in the desert
In the quiet of the night, and yet
They simply could never forget
The vast rolling sea that beckoned to them
Where the desert ended and the ocean started.
They simply could never forget
The majestic end of the Namib Desert
And the pristine waters of the Atlantic.
