She danced

She danced

And elegantly she danced to the tunes of the cymbals

Clashing with the dhols and the mellifluous flute -

It was a wonderful symphony, almost a cacophony of the instruments

And her rhythmic moves.

She was an unconventional beauty,

Not too long locks, not too fair skin, not too round eyes -

The ones considered to be traditionally pretty -

She was a wonder for the eyes, her wavy short locks

Which twirled around with delight while she danced to those humming tunes,

Her dreamy soft eyes, which spoke volumes,

Her perfectly bronze skin which glowed with the flickers of mellow light.

It was a wondrous sight, to watch her twirl with delight, with love for the skill

Which she had mastered.

She danced and danced, without a care in the world

Without a care of the world. It was her tiny little universe -

Her dance and the music she danced to.

Those seemingly ethereal beats she swayed with.

The cymbals kept ringing along with the flute,

And so she twirled to that symphony, endlessly, till she could.
