DARKNESS

The talk that was never heard,

The whisper that was never told,

 The candle that was never lit, 

The dream that was never seen,

Are all hidden in the dark.

The dark was unspoken. 

The dark was unrevealed. 

The dark was enigmatic. 

The dark was ever-expanding.

 But the heart does want to hark. 

The germs wriggle in the brain. 

The pain is insane. 

The soul climbs the tree of hope.

Like a dark smoke. 

The crazy water strider wants a cure. 

The darkness is deep. 

The eyes cannot sleep. 

The heart wants to speak. 

The brain becomes a freak. 

The dark hints of a beautiful failure. 

The water strider writes 

His crazy pure designs

On the surface of the water. 

The dark imposes a cover

And it disappears every time for sure. 

The dark is enigmatic. 

The dark is without logic. 

The dark is crazy silence.

That is darkly cosmic. 

The brain is so diseased and corrupt!

 The dark robs the sight. 

The night seeks to be bright.

 Black holes eat up light. 

The dying stars fight. 

The mind seeks the light in this time of the dark.

Suddenly a beacon

 Is seen in the dark ocean. 

A whisper is heard. 

The silence does part. 

The soul feels a bit relaxed. 

The dark universe whispers,

 'The light will come soon

 Like a full moon.'

The soul waits eagerly to be healed from the dark. 

The bright moon does appear

On the backdrop even darker!
