Plucking Summer Hues
Plucking Summer Hues

I want to
savour the breaths of
vehement amour
I want to
gasp a tinge of
the tranquil aurora
I want to
pirouette at the tint of
a nautical horizon
I want to
dip my toes into
dancing buds on
the zephyr
I want to
pluck wuthering shades
from the sublime greens
I want to
sip droplets of
sapphire essences
I want to
paint my ivory canvas with
cobalt strokes
I want to
bloom my soul with
salmon blossoms
I want to
soar in the emerald sky and
dive in the emerald sea
I want to
tantalize the shades of
crimson at 'set
I want to
steal the silver gleam from
the moon
I want to
paint golden crescents with
my life's palette
My heart would yearn
to cluster the utmost tones
But I was a peacock
abandoned in monotone
