A Walk Through A Forest
A Walk Through A Forest
At first, alone in the woods I felt
Missing the people and the sounds where I dwelt.
There was honking of cars, chatting of peolpe and so many more sounds
But here there weren't any people in sight,
Only a profound feeling of quiet.
But then I understood,
I went in deeper and smelled the trees
Taking in all the freshness
I feast upon the nature, listening to the wind
Taking in all the peace and refreshness.
There is pleasure in these pathless woods,
There is a society where none intrudes,
A person walking here can either dwell in his thoughts,
Or close his eyes, rest his mind and listen to different sounds.
There is chirping of birds,
Squeaking of squirells,
Rustling of grass and leaves where animals moved,
Sounds in which I was ready to be consumed.
Such a beautiful gift given by nature,
Who is always giving us a new lecture.
All needed is an open mind,
That calmly watches and recieves.
