Since the day I lost you (Task-3)
Since the day I lost you (Task-3)
My heart is sinking,
In the pool of our reminiscences,
Every time it trying hard to swim,
But it fails and drowns.
My eyes are tired of crying,
But how to make them understand,
That he won't come to wipe my tears,
Like he did every time.
My ears losing their patience,
For now, no balladry cheering them up,
They find peace in hearing him out,
But having it is been long now.
Stretching my lips became painful,
But my tongue is yet not sick of calling him,
I always crave to sing our favorite lullabies,
Of which half of the lyrics are missing now.
My hand used to of holding his,
Missing the games it used to play all,
Once they used to welcome all the verses,
Are finding it tough to hold such elegies now.
My soul smells him in every breath,
Feels him in every touch of the zephyr,
Finding him among those little stars,
But his silence falling it apart.
