Damodar Blessed With Sons

A wealthy Damodar had a boating  business

He owned a fleet of boats and many sailors

People hired his ferries for crossing the Ganges

Some people hired these for joy and pleasure

Uncle Kripap at times booked a ferry for kids

For giving a ride to Prince Gobind and his pals

Still, these children always jumped in a ferry 

They ever found one at a shore and vacant

Prince was known for utterances coming true

Once Damodar's wife prepared many gifts for him

She being without any issue requested Ma Gujri

To ask the Prince to say that she'd have a child

Ma Gujri Ji asked the Prince Gobind for saying it

But unmindful he said that child wouldn't come 

Her attitude seemed as forcible and compulsive

Her gifts were also representing her ego.

Once this couple was at river Ganges

Gobind Rai asked them for a ferry ride

They willingly  and lovingly gave it  and told that

 Daily a ferry be reserved for him and his friends

Damodar's wife again besought him to say that

A child would come in their family and home

 Prince said, "one will come, more will come

And again, again and again, one will come"

Over a span of time, Damodar and his wife 

Were blessed with not only one but five sons

Thus where authority and ego failed once

Love, service, and humility got the blessings
