To accomplish the task of cremation
He had to burn his house full of cotton
As the fear of Mughal retribution was there
In eighteenth-century when Sikhs wielded
Power in Delhi, Gurdwara Rakabganj on
The site of cremation was constructed
Rakabganj was the name of the village
At the time of cremation.
Now it is next to Secretariat and Parliament House in Delhi
The severed head of Guru Teg Bahadur was
Recovered by another devout braveheart
Bhai Jaita hi and returned it to Guru Gobind Singh
