Human In Disguise
Human In Disguise
I strive for an identity, roaming the streets
Of this peculiar world, my heart bleeds
Clapping my way out, I am welcomed,
With disgust, and pity I witness seldom
My lips speak a different story,
My adam’s apple bewilder people,
“What is it? A man or a woman?
Definitely not a human! “
My genetics are my disguise,
underestimating me is not wise
I could fare better than those in power,
Am equipped with the prowess of both the genders at par
My voice could beat any orator,
My looks could melt any mortal,
My claps could excite any infant,’
My life could change in an instant
Variation is what society refuses to accept
They envy me and my unique concept,
I wish I could recognize myself
My identity remains buried under the shelf.
