Count Your Blessings

As I sat down by the riverside watching the beautiful sunset,

All I could see was the sky taking on the shades of orange, the scene itself was so mesmerizing that it made me realize how wonderful painter “OUR CREATOR” is.

The noise of the waves sounded so amusing to my ears, that it made me forgot what dreadful day I had,

The waves touched & tickled my feet, making their presence felt in all the possible manners,

As they made their way back, they changed my mood & lifted my spirit.

This made me think & realize how often do we count on our blessings

Life has become stressful; we are so busy addressing our troubles that in amidst of that we forget to count our blessings

How often do we appreciate little blessings in our life, has Life become all about chasing, rather than living & enjoying,

We have got ourselves so occupied to reach somewhere else that we tend to ignore & appreciate where we are & what we have

And now I understand what “don’t just count your year’s, make your year’s count” actually means.

Someone has rightly said “Better to lose count while naming your blessings than to lose your blessings to counting your troubles”

What matters is which one you FOCUS on 

So make sure you grab little blessings in your life & make them count, before they bid adieu to you, only then you might be able to encash every cent of it
