The Closed Door

I kept staring at it, the Closed Door

It looked as if it was trying to make fun of me.

To make me feel how miserable I am.

To prove that I was not strong enough.

It looked as if it was mocking me, making me feel unworthy of everything

That I didn’t have in me what it takes to get through it.

Yes, I was scared to the very core,

What If I didn’t have in me to take up the challenge

Change is so scary when I am comfortable with where I am.

Why should I take the risk to explore unknown territory?

What if I fail?

And so, when I had decided to give up,

That little voice in me, startled me, when I heard it.

Hey, you are called Opportunity for no reason.

When you are meant to fly, why do you want to settle down?

You were born to expand and explore, not settle down for low.

Your true identity lies in getting through the other side of the door.

When you belong at the other side of the door

Why do you want to waste your time finding your space on this side of the door?

 

What if the most breathtaking experiences come with some turbulence?

 Despite the bumps along the way, determined travelers press on toward their destination.

Those who truly embrace you must be willing to take the journey and find their way through any obstacles that may arise to achieve success.

It's true, sometimes we get so caught up in what's not working out that we forget to look for other options.

It's important to keep moving forward and exploring new paths because you never know when an Opportunity might present itself.
