Cold Bite Of Winter
Cold Bite Of Winter
When blanket didn't worked on chilly days,
When coffee couldn't warm her frozen heart,
When Santa couldn't grant her gift,
Christmas didn't feel like an eve.
Telepathy was what she longed for
And her desired couldn't be fulfilled.
When cakes weren't appetizing to her
And candles only were melted wax,
When windy nights were like a tornado
Only took her peace away.
When charcoal fire was not what she missed
And hot chocolate didn't quenched her thirst.
When reindeer was not what she wanted to see
But cherry red nose was in her memory.
When jingling of bells was noise to her
And snowfall was no more a magical event.
When friends felt crowd
And her home seemed far away.
Swelled were her eyes again
When everything seemed as cold as ice
And winter seemed unpleasant in her eyes.
Leaving dark nights of winter
And frosty mornings.
She felt cozy doing telepathy
And prayed in the cold of winter
To wake her up when it's invincible summer within her.
