Captain's Golden Words!

Our vacation on a cruise ship this time,It was on ‘Odessey of the seas’ - a Royal Caribbean cruise ship,For eight days and nights we were there,Four days we had land excursions and four days on the ship,Started from Rome, saw Santorini, Mykonos, Kusadasi and Naples,So good to cover parts of Greece, Italy and Turkey,There were lots of activities, entertainment , swimming pools n jacuzzis on the ship,Time just flew there as we had our friends too with us all the time,One of the days, we had a special time assigned with the captain of the ship,What he said are the golden words for everyone,This will remain my take away from the cruise trip this time,His words are so apt and relevant to all of us,He said ‘there are crew members from 83 different nationalities working on the ship,And guests are from 73 different nationalities,All of us are living together here so joyfully on the ship,No trouble or distinguishing differently in any way,We are eating together, activities, entertainment together,Going on land excursions, swimming, celebrated Italy day together,Why don’t our leaders understand this?’‘Our whole world is like this ship,We may belong to different countries,Yet we all can live harmoniously just like in this cruise ship!’ He said,‘Yes Sir! You are right, we can live well together we know,With no fights, no war, no misunderstanding, just cordial relations,’‘If we can live well on a ship together for eight days straight so cordially,We can definitely live well outside the ship as well similarly,’Well said Sir, your observation and feeling is great,Telling the world outside, the leaders and the common men this,Live well, live cordially, live without misunderstanding and fights, we are all the same human beings,Whatever country, religion or race we belong,A smile, some warmth, kindness, love and care is all we need for each other!CopyrightJacqueline Lobo John
