Burn
Burn
You are now a distant memory,
I visit once in a while,
Out of sheer curiosity,
To see whether it would hurt as much as before,
Would the pain be excruciatingly blinding,
Or would it would be like a dull ache,
Throbbing enough to make it's existence known,
And once in a while,
I dare myself to fall for you,
To see whether I can get out of it alive,
Or would I be burned like before.
