Why don't I see stars tonight?

Why is the night sky so lonely in this darkness?

I look at the moon and wonder,

What must it be like to shine all by yourself?

With no one by your side in this long endeavor,

Making it bright for everyone out there,

While they continue to dwell in this night

They have created in their life,

Devoid of any light,

Filled with demons of any shape and form,

Lurking in every corner they turn to,

Tumbling through this nightmare,

They forget that it's all in their head,

All they need to do is open their eyes,

And look around at life,

How has it been waiting for them to wake up,

And just like that, it all goes away,

The fear and loneliness.
