Trust

Trust, something not even learnt in theory knowledge,

Not learnt in the most sophisticated philosophy college,

But somehow, we all have it by birth, the first right thing we do,

Turning out to be the source that we owe all our pain to,

Seems simple to the third person when it's broken into pieces,

Simple even to the person who teases,

Our worst fears, but when we lock ourselves and we're in tears,

The poke shows itself as a stab, and it sears,

Easy to say it's a small thing for someone who doesn't understand,

All it does is make our trust go down like an hourglass' sand,

Implying that the time is almost up for the person putting me down,

Words are my specialty, I can make you look like a king, I can make you look like a clown,

Fooled myself time and again saying it's not their fault but doesn't seem anymore like I care,

I'll wait till the time's up, and then I'll fill their hind up with a flare,

I don't do things more than I dare, but thing is, even death doesn't give more than a little scare,

It was a battle and they'll turn it into a war, after that, all I'd do would be fair.
