You're like the night sky,

Beautiful even in the darkness,

Filled with million stars and a moon,

Yet there's something despondent when I look at you,

Those eyes speak volume about the love you crave,

The love I failed to give,

Those lips miss the smile that made you glow,

The one I snatched away,

Those hands bear hideous scars,

The ones I carved on them,

The solace I needed in you,

I found them in flickering stars,

Like the night sky that you were,

You carried darkness inside you,

That pushed me towards the light,

And when I'm with you,

I wait for the morning sky.
