Fate Of A Woman
Fate Of A Woman

Walking past a temple, heard the bells ring,
In glory of you mother we stand here and sing.
Moving further I returned back to my thoughts,
My worries kept me busy, to think I already had lots.
Nearing home, heard a neighbor shout,
"Idiot woman, you don’t respect MAN of the house"
Came out a mother holding her daughters hand,
Anger, despair, the pain in her eyes she couldn’t stand.
First time in life I felt, jealous of that lady we worship above the skies,
Had you been on earth, like all, you wont see any hands to wipe your cries.
We call her mother, we bring her shame
What man wants, what he likes, is always the game
To raise a family, to build a home,
She leaves her family, to make yours her own
No respect, no love, no sympathy you show,
Instead you add to her fears and woes.
People preach to live life, its single chance u get
But at every turn, a girl's sacrifices is what they expect
Humans I thought are ones we everyday walk along,
Though with humanity is now nowhere to be found.
