I dived and released my body under the water,

Opened my eyes, saw nothing but the blue waves,

The waves dancing in symphonic love,

Alluring me sing the lore of the freshly blossomed romance,

The Happiness of the waves brought out the melancholy in me,

My heart felt heavy and my eyes moistened,

The tears stung the wounds which were being healed by the water,

My soul mourned and wept for the lost lover,

Suddenly, I felt nothing.

My body was going down deep inside the water,

I wanted to set my soul free, release it of the pain,

The life seemed meaningless, Drowning was less painful,

Indeed it was beautiful, to go with the flow.

My eyes snapped open, I realized I didn't want this,

I started kicking, shaking my hands, wanting to reach the surface.

I knew I couldn't quit, being a coward wasn't my way of leaving,

But it was too late, I couldn't breathe.

While, I waited for the inevitable,

Someone grabbed my hand and pulled me out,

I saw in his eyes, a hope to survive, a hope to live.

I held him tightly, and he refused to let me go.

We reached the shore, he looked at me with eyes so intense, that my body trembled.

However, his arms felt like home, I always wanted to return to.

He leaned and whispered, "Not yet, Love. Not yet."
