I can't even place a finger on which hurts the most,

You leaving me in a cold pouring rain without saying goodbye, or

The sudden agonising pain that I feel

which hurts and stings more than wounds, or

The fact that my indecisive heart still begs for you to come back.

I am still here wallowing in a pitiful mess,

While, you are out there living a life of no stress,

What did I expect? It's been years!

Who would hold me once again?

For I need to get rid of this pain,

It's really hard to look back at those days,

Without a black smudge on my face, 

I really loved you and you knew that,

You said “we were meant to be, till death do us part”

So, why would you leave without an explanation or a goodbye?

Was your love for me all a lie?

I can't even speak to you,

Because, you're living a life that is true,

without me to taint it with my pathetic hue.
