Boy to Man

Skip and sneak and roll and fall,

A child was dear to all,

He amused and laughed and smiled again,

Whenever he saw a man at all!

The child turned into a boy and then to a man,

But he couldn’t find a soul 

Who charmed and attracted 

Him as a man !

He waited and waited long 

Till one day he became old,

He told to a street boy,

Don’t be transparent in nature,

And never tell the truth,

Be kind only to yourself,

The street little boy asked,

Why was he teaching him such,

The old little man said,

Because I have suffered enough!
