Before Enlightenment
Before Enlightenment
I'm confused,
Everything's twisted
People are bruised,
Some convicted
All I see is people,
Crawling to land
And seeing blood ripple,
I don't understand
My eyes are shutting,
But I see radiant light
I thought of rebutting,
But joy hides my sight
A staircase of white magic,
Forgetting events that were tragic
As you step into Heaven,
You become enlightened
