Pancakes!

Flip-Flop goes the pancake!

Flumped up and down

What other sounds can it make?

Turning golden brown!

Topped up with berries,

and my favorite syrup

Sometimes topped with cherries,

And served with my tea cup

Sweet and delicate,

Soft like my plushie,

Joy it does create,

What if it's mushy?

Oh! I enjoyed it,

And waiting for tomorrow,

Best breakfast I admit,

Wipes away my sorrow!
