My Mind Speaks

Filled with a hundred emotions

For the world, we all have varied notions.

Truth, we all know, must be spoken

Still our inner consciousness is somewhat broken.

The veils of pretentiousness 

Has ceased our mindfulness.

Though we know it's wrong

Then why do we stand strong?

Acceptance has somewhere hidden behind sinful shadows

Colourful flowers of love are no more seen in the meadows.

We have inaccurately trained our mind

Does our values lagging behind?

It has become our tendency to cheat

Why do such actions we repeat?

Even if the mind instructs to stop

Another idea to commit crime immediately pops.

Your mind is a master.

Remember, later it will be hard to plaster.

Neither take it in a wrong direction 

Nor establish awful connection.

Let your mind speak 

Let all the ill-feelings it leak.

So that, the day your life will be on its brim

You'll not have to grim.
