Mothers.....

The word which always gives my heart a sense of delight

So mesmerizing it is to look at her sight.

She took care of me

And supported me for whatever I wanted to be.

She sacrificed everything she had

But never allowed me to mix with people bad.

At times, she scolds

Frightening me with her stare cold.

That little me has grown up today

I'm trying to even utilize my Sunday. 

To make her proud

Who has given me the courage to stand out from the crowd.

People aspire to be a millionaire or a billionaire 

I just want to imbibe the qualities she has like a golden flair.

A true friend 

Who has always protected me from a dreadful end.

Sometimes I think

When I am sad why she's not able to drink.

She has lent me her wings to fly

I have promised her that one day I'll reach the sky.
