A Flash From The Past
A Flash From The Past
In the state of lockdown
When nobody has a freedom crown.
When nature is healing from the harsh human touch
What can we do in a situation such?
Sitting in the garden with yellow and red roses around me
When a bird with its open wings in the sky flee
Then I was reminded of those golden days
When for enjoyment, there were many ways.
I ran into the house and climbed up the stairs
And organized the mess around my chair.
As instructed by dad to be done now
But in the process, I found my seven years old creations somehow.
Could not believe they were mine
I gazed at them, for they gave my face new sunshine.
I fell in love with my third and fourth standard display book
The time I wanted to fill it by hook or by crook.
Now I'm busy mugging up
Leaving behind my passion cup.
Learning about alpha, beta and gamma
I forgot the blue and orange colour of the panorama.
These recollections have brought me back
At night I promised myself to hack.
I drew and hatch and scratch
I just don't know why from colours I can't detach.
